In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to the Top Gear Driving Anthems CD on roadtrips with my dad. Every song on there is a banger, but my favourite was the song "Highway Star" by Deep Purple; the guitar solo made me feel something as a kid, and it made me want to learn! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? McFly, Room On the 3rd Floor Bonus Track Version Periphery, Periphery III: Select Difficulty The Darkness, Permission to Land Periphery III got me into metal and screamed vocals, Permission to Land is my favourite album of all time, and The Darkness are from my hometown. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cheap Hotel” Cheap Hotel is a special song to me, because it represented finding my voice as an artist, and realising you don't have to be perfect to make something fun. Seeing all the positive feedback drove me to keep going and...here we are. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I heard someone singing the chorus of Late Night Drive back to me. That warmed me so much. Almost cried. Didn't. But almost. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah...loads. For now it's: play some sick shows, make some new fans, write more songs, and be able to make enough money to do this full time. Work sucks, and I wanna do this music thing all day every day. Can't do that if you have a "real job". Ew.
